Mystic Incense is inspired by the Muda dEgitto, the historic Venetian trade route that connected the Mediterranean to the rich, fragrant treasures of the East.

Sailing along the Dalmatian coast and the Peloponnese, the Muda dEgitto reached Crete and Cyprus before arriving in the crusader states, notably Tyre and Acre, and the Egyptian cities of Damietta and Alexandria. These were key hubs of the Frankincense Route. From these storied lands came the raw materials that shaped this fragrance: precious frankincense, aromatic cyperus, myrrh, jasmine, white nigella, and more.
