TRUDON • Cire Beeswax Absolute

The Cire scented candle stands as a majestic tribute to the essence of the manufacture, a symbol of tradition and artistry. Infused with the warm, enveloping notes of molten wax and the delicate fragrances in creation, it captures the very soul of Trudon. This candle is a celebration of the Maison's enduring values—ancient savoir-faire and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Encased in amber-colored glass, it reveals a singular perfume: the pure, golden essence of beeswax.

Bees and their precious wax have long been woven into the fabric of Trudon's history. Since the 17th century, the Maison has upheld its noble motto, "Deo regique laborant"—"they (the bees) work for God and the King." In 2019, Trudon embarked on a new chapter in this storied legacy by pledging financial support to the Orne Dark Bee Conservatory, in partnership with the Perche Nature Park. In a gesture of reverence for these vital creatures, 4 percent of all sales of the Maison's Cire candle are dedicated to preserving the Orne Dark Bees, safeguarding their future and, with it, the tradition they represent.

     HOW TO TREAT YOUR CANDLE

  1. In order to get the most out of your candle, burn it until the entire surface of the candle melts.
  2. To preserve the fragrance, do not burn your candle for more than 2 hours at a time during the first third of the candle and 1 hour at a time during the remaining.
  3. Do not leave candle burning unattended. Do not set in a draft. Keep away from children, curtains and pets.
  4. Should the wick require centering, gently readjust to correct position when the wax is still molten. Allow candle to solidify before relighting.
  5. Should any black smoke appear, trim the tip of the wick. It should be clean and no longer than 5mm at all times.
  6. Always protect the table or surface on which the candle rests (with a wood or ceramic plate, for example).
  7. Do not burn your candle all the way down. Always leave at least 5 mm of non-molten wax at the bottom.
  8. Keep your candle in a dry and temperate environment, between 60 and 80° F.
  9. The first use of your candle should occur within the two first months after its reception
